Bluestone ensures that children from across the state of Ohio have access to high-quality crisis psychiatric healthcare that will address their most immediate needs forstabilization, assessment and treatment. Designed to provide access to all youth in crisis, Bluestone also welcomes dually diagnosed youth and those with autism spectrum disorder.

Bluestone will provide short term care for children and adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crises, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, psychosis and other unsafe behaviors. With the capacity to serve 1,500 clients annually, treatment teams comprising psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, therapists and a range of specialized staff will deliver a full scope of intensive medical and therapeutic care, followed by comprehensive discharge planning for safe return to the community or step-down into a less restrictive setting.
